Type 1 Diabetes Research in 2025

When someone is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, the first question they and their loved ones ask is how close are scientists to finding a cure? Since the discovery of insulin in 1921 (over 100 years ago!), diabetes treatment and technological advancements for the chronic disease have come in waves.
